Satan’s Game – For the Horde!

Santiaga. The dangerous and sick alter ego of a person running for elected office.

Maine’s World!! Maine’s World!! Party on!! Excellent!!

Now this is when it gets interesting. … kerchunk … kerchunk …

The GOP found out that a Democratic candidate for elected office in Maine played a little computer game known as World of Warcraft (WoW).

It wasn’t something the candidate ever tried to hide.

How did the Maine Republican Party respond? By launching a website that seeks to portray the candidate as some kind of a sick freak. They tried to portray her in-game character as a dangerous real life (RL) thing.

Ominous. She’s a level 85 Orc Rogue that specializes in “assassination.” And she likes to stab things! Is that what we need in Maine politics? In the online game she gets away with “crude, vicious and violent” comments.

Maine needs a State Senator that lives in the real world, not in Colleen’s fantasy world.
–Maine Republican Party website

Yeah! I mean why the hell can’t she go out and just get a mistress like a real Maine politician??? Zumba is was more RL than the sick fantasy of WoW, right?

As always, this got me to thinking. What games have you ever played, you sick freaks???

A Very Merry GOP Labor Day – Ho Ho Ho!

Some people just get it. And then there’s the GOP. Absolutely brilliant insight from The Cassandra Files Blog. Happy labor day!

The Cassandra Files

Maybe someone needs to tell Eric Cantor that this is NOT what Labor Day is about:

I know that for Cantor and the GOP it gets hard to separate Labor Day from unions; and I know that since unions typically support Democrats over Republicans, that must hurt.  But that doesn’t change history.

Attempting to redefine Labor Day to fit the frame of the current campaign (celebrating the titans of industry who built this country on the backs of millions of exploited workers) is like trying to reframe slavery as a popular jobs program for African immigrants.

If Cantor were the only one saying such things, we could laugh it off as just another gaffe by an out-of-touch politician. But he’s not alone. The entire Republican party is not only pushing fealty to the “job creators”, they’re simultaneously attacking unions and worker protections. Every time a Republican politician or business executive talks about…

kill shot (noun) – A shot in various games that is so forcefully hit or perfectly placed that it cannot be returned.

The man who would be King…

It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one around who can make bad decisions.

Donald Trump thinks he’s got a shot at being the next President of the United States. He even thinks he’ll earn the GOP nomination. And, if not, he says he’ll “probably” go it alone as an independent.

I submit the facts in the previous paragraph are evidence enough that the man is not capable of making intelligent decisions, and is therefore not qualified for the job. It is bound to please comedians across the country, though. It’s a gold mine of material!

Curious, I looked for polling data and found this:

A new survey from Newsweek and The Daily Beast indicates President Obama is ahead of Trump by only two percentage points, 43-41, well within the poll’s sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percent. In fact, Trump fares far better against Obama than Sarah Palin, who would lose to Obama by 11 points, 51-40, according to the poll.

Trump also performs roughly as well as former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who is 2 points behind Obama in the survey, 49-47 percent. Mike Huckabee, another former presidential candidate, does best against the president in the poll: both are tied at 46 percent. (CNN.)

Of course, this far out, those numbers are almost meaningless, and will no doubt change many, many times during the lead up to election day.

When I think about Trump, I wonder about his motives. Who wants the job of POTUS and why? With him, the only answers I can see related to publicity and celebrity, and that’s just not good enough.

My naive political analysis? A Trump campaign could sully the Republican field with a lot of mud slinging and negative campaigning. I can’t imagine what skeletons Trump might have, but if they are there, I’ll bet they are good ones and they will come out. And I’m sure he can and will fling poo right along with the very best of them. The whole scenario could play out quite favorably to Obama.

At least Trump doesn’t have to worry about birth certificate issues. Like me, he was hatched. And right here, right now, I’m going to make a prediction. People who come out against him will come to be known as Trumpers. You heard it here first, folks!

Either way, come election day, I’ll take a pass on The Donald, thank you.

Kissing three asses at the same time; the Giuliani hat trick

Rudy Giuliani

I couldn't find a picture of Giuliani in his custom baseball hat - so please enjoy this teddy bear

The New York Yankees baseball club is in the playoffs again this year. We all know what that means: More closeup shots of Rudy Giuliani wearing his custom baseball hat and enjoying really good seats.

The hat he’s sporting isn’t just a hat with the NY Yankees famous logo. It doesn’t honor the memory of 9/11 with a reference to NYPD or NYFD either.

Nay. Verily, it somehow defies all odds and combines all three!

The hat reads: PD *NY* FD

Niiiiiiiice. It’s the triple threat of 9/11 and New York references.

Rumor has it that if you pry this piece of art from his cranium with a crow bar and turn it inside out it forms a diorama of Giuliani standing on a pile of rubble in drag with his current favorite mistress.

In Giuliani’s dictionary GOP must stand for Greatly Offensive Pandering.

Here tushy tushy tushy.

Smooch smooch smooch.
