I came across a fellow with the first sign and he was all like, “Perfect logic, yo! Proof that liberals are idiots.” So I thought about it a bit and came up with what, I feel, is a clever response. If I do say so myself. 🙂

If that’s a real sign, the dude’s a dick. It’s one thing to say “I support the right to bear arms,” and another to say “my neighbor doesn’t” or even worse “rob my neighbor.” Frankly, I’m unimpressed by anyone who makes the allegation that a person’s political views indicate his intelligence or lack thereof. What’s the purpose? It’s certainly not to convert the unbelievers (you don’t change minds by insulting people; it doesn’t work). I think the only purpose these kinds of declarations serve is to signal to other believers that you’re “correct thinking.” We live in the land of the Ds and the Rs and their unexamined party beliefs.
