Short Story: Waikiki #BlogShorts

Waikiki
by Tom B. Taker

Moonlight reflected from her eyes as he fiercely pulled her close.

With waves of Waikiki lapping at their feet, they embraced.

Plunging to the sand, they fused. The ocean roared.

While there, we discovered Super Holy Holy Time. It’s time when you’re someplace else, like in the woods, other than work. We both had Friday off. At 5:00pm we transitioned from Super Holy Holy Time to regular Holy Time. It was a very spiritual experience.

Heading back home today Mrs. Abyss started to experience the physical symptoms of returning to regular life. Tomorrow at work it isn’t going to be pretty. It was a good ride while it lasted, though.
