James O’Keefe expected to enter plea

James O’ Keefe, who brought the world the famous pimp videos of ACORN, is expected to enter a plea before a federal magistrate regarding misdemeanor charges on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. He is accused of entering federal property under false pretenses regarding a stunt he pulled in the offices of Senator Mary Landrieu.

Originally faced with potential felony charges in regards to the incident, a guilty plea to the misdemeanor charge is expected to avoid jail time for O’Keefe and his co-defendants.

  1. He doesn’t need sentencing he needs more funding to continue doing what he’s been doing. It’s very effective. Besides, Google essentially does the same thing.

    1. Except for the fact that O’Keefe is on a quest to make one side look good and the other side look bad. Too bad he simply didn’t make a commitment to truth.

  2. I’m going to donate to his cause just because of the fact he brought down Acorn. As for the truth…we might get some of it if we tapped ALL the Senators’ phones and listened in. Otherwise, we’ll never know what’s going on behind closed doors. I think ALL of their communication should be open to the public except that which would threaten national security.

    1. Ah, you missed your chance at a Michael Moore reference. While ponder O’Keefe I realized that I like Michael Moore as a filmmaker and he definitely chooses sides. I do think he’s biased, though, and take his facts with a grain of salt. Luckily there is a whole army of Michael Moore fact checkers out there to tell me every little detail that has been overly stretched.

Compared to Moore, however, O’Keefe is just a talentless hack.

Now O’Keefe can add “Yes I pleaded guilty but I’m angry about it” to his resume. Mwuhahahaha! In other words, he’s a criminal.

A federal magistrate sentenced O’Keefe to three years of probation, 100 hours of community service, and a $1,500 fine. A slap on the wrist to be sure but a satisfying one.

Too bad he avoided felony charges. If I fucked with a senator and her office I’d probably get 20 years in a pound-me-in-the-ass prison. But, like you said, that’s how the game is played, right?
