Niagara Falls as seen from above
I thought this was rather interesting. I recently came across a cool NASA web site called Earth Observatory. Their home page will tell you about their lofty goals for the project, including feeding the hungry and aiding organizations with relief. But it is also a site that has a lot of cool pictures of Earth. It’s like an observatory that has been turned inwards rather than outwards.
While checking it out, I found this image of Niagara Falls that I thought was rather cool. (The image can be clicked for a much larger version.) I’ve never been to Niagara Falls but wow, what a striking image. I had no idea the surrounding area was so built out.
Anyway, I’ll be posting cool randomness like this from time to time whenever and where ever I find it.

My quotation effort for prosperity
I have decided that I want to be famous and live on beyond my meager years, you know, just like a lot of other folks have done.
I’m talking about getting your name associated with a quotation. Centuries after you are gone your name may still be dropped in association with the quotation – and that is nothing to shake a stick at!
So, after hard work and careful consideration, I have come up with the following effort. This will be my quotation legacy!
